Event Guidelines

  • We house a number of events annually throughout the United States and Japan. See our schedule for more details.

  • All events are open to the public. 

    Admission is free to those under the age of 12 and must be accompanied by a paying adult over the age of 18.

    Tickets to all events are available for purchase online, or in person during the event of the event at the venue's designated box office.

  • All patrons are subject to search.

    Harmful objects or weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited.

    • Conduct that poses any risk to other visitors or to the event's staff or exhibits.

    • Running, rough play, and disruptive behavior.

    • The unauthorized playing of music and video, unauthorized theater performances, and sound amplification and noisemakers.

    • Charitable solicitations, leafleting, signature gathering, picketing, and press conferences by visitors.

    • Solicitation of business and unauthorized for-profit activity.

    • Refund, resale, exchange, or transferal of events tickets without prior consent by Wekfest.

    • Lawn or folding chairs and tables.

    • Outside food or drinks unless needed for medical reasons.

    • Fireworks or laser pointers.

    • Bicycles, skateboards or rollerblades.

    • Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is not allowed in the venue or near the entrances.

    • Large bags, luggage, and musical instruments.

    • Glass containers, jars, aerosol cans, and liquids other than water.

    • Any large objects.

    • Any other items that could put the venue or visitors at risk, to be determined at the sole discretion of the venue's security team.

    • All event venues have closed-circuit video monitoring for the safety of our visitors. Please note that visitors to Wekfest may be photographed, videotaped, or otherwise recorded. By visiting, visitors grant Wekfest permission to use photographs and/or audiovisual recordings in which visitors appear for archival, documentary, publicity, advertising, or other purposes.

    • In and out privileges.

    • Hand held camera or recording equipment.

    • Medical supplies and strollers.

    • Personal backpacks and bags.

    • Service animals are welcome.

    • Dogs or other pets are prohibited.

    • Photography and video recording is permitted.

    • Hand-Held Cameras and video on personal cellular devices may be used, to photograph and film unless otherwise designated.

    • The use of drones, or any other non hand held recording devices are strictly prohibited.
